Rhenish Church, Rehoboth North Congregation is a congregation of the Rhenish Church located in Rehoboth, in Namibia. It was established in 1888, and has been affiliated with the Rhenish Church since 1899. The basic beliefs of the Rhenish Church are grounded in an understanding of the Incarnation, in which God became flesh in order to save fallen humanity from its sinful condition. This understanding is reflected in the sacramental life of the congregation, which includes the celebration of the Lord's Supper and baptism. On Sundays, members of the congregation worship and sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that have been part of their church for generations. The congregation also offers services, such as Bible study, pastoral care, and outreach to the afflicted and needy. In addition, the congregation is involved in service projects, such as, feeding programs, assisting with housing and job needs, and offering language classes, health education, and cultural exchange programs.
