The worship method of Shri Digambar Jain Bada Mandir in Varanasi is based on traditional rituals and beliefs of Jainism. Before entering the temple, devotees perform puja (prayer) with sandalwood, sweets, and fruits. They also perform Aartis (chanting and prayers), and offer their respects to the holy Tirthankaras. Then the devotees offer prayers while circumambulating the sanctum of the temple three times and also perform Pradakshina (walking around the temple sanctum).
