History:

At the Kali Bari temple in Delhi, worshippers offer prayers to Goddess Kali who is viewed as one of the manifestations of Shakti (Power). Prayers are offered by ringing bells, chanting mantras and singing devotional songs praising the goddess. Offerings such as flowers, sweets and coconuts are made as a symbol of devotion.
