The Akshardham temple in Jaipur is an important Hindu temple and a popular pilgrimage destination for the devotees of Lord Shri Swaminarayan. The Akshardham Temple is an impressive architectural structure in the heart of Jaipur and one of the largest temples in India. The traditional worship method practiced at Akshardham Temple is the Panchamrut Abhishek. It is a powerful form of worship that directly connects devotees to the divine energy of Lord Shri Swaminarayan. The Panchamrut Abhishek is composed of 5 parts. In the first part, a mixture of water, milk, curd, ghee and sugar is poured onto a murti of Lord Shri Swaminarayan, while chanting mantras and aarti are performed. The second part involves offering flowers and Tulsi leaves to the murti, followed by the third part of performing Pradakshina (circumambulation around the murti) seven times. The fourth part involves offering flowers, five bananas, and Akshardham prasad. The last part involves performing the Arati ritual, which involves waving the Arati flame and offering prayers to the murti.
