The worship method of Gurudwara Shri Shaheed Ganj Sahib, located in Muktsar, Punjab, is similar to that of other Sikh gurudwara. It follows the Gurmat or Sikh way of worship, which is based on the writings of the 10 Sikh Gurus. Worship commences with the chanting of scriptures from the Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy book); this is followed by singing of the shabad (hymns) of the Guru Granth Sahib, Kirtan (hymn singing with musical instruments). The worship service also includes the reciting of the five banis (daily prayers).
