St Paul's Church, Brighton is a Grade II listed church building which stands prominently in the city centre of Brighton, in East Sussex. It is located on St Paul’s Place in the East Cliff area, and was constructed in 1892 to designs by Philip Lockwood, the borough surveyor. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.

History:

St Paul's Church was constructed in 1892, under the patronage of John Sawyer, the Anglican Bishop of Winchester, and supported by the local community. While the original building was destroyed during a bombing raid in 1941, the parish continued to worship in various temporary locations until the building was consecrated anew in 1952. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.
