Mastaba of Kagemni at Saqqara is an ancient Egyptian tomb located at the famous Saqqara necropolis in Memphis, Egypt. The tomb dates back to the Fifth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom and was built for the high court official and vizier, Kawab, and his son, Kagemni. The facade of the mastaba is decorated with scenes of offerings and offering tables from the funerary cult, but it also contains an interesting craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian art. Inside the tomb is a decorated chapel, with wall paintings and carvings depicting religious scenes and the procession of the deceased before the gods. The chapel also includes a false door, a hieroglyphic inscription, and various cult objects. The Mastaba of Kagemni is widely considered to be one of the best examples of the Old Kingdom mastaba style and is widely studied by archaeologists and historians.
