The Church of the Santo Madero is a Roman Catholic religious center located in Monterrey, Mexico. It has a long and rich history that dates back to the 16th century when it was first constructed as an altar to honor the Virgin Mary. The original building was destroyed in the 18th century, but was rebuilt in 1787 by the Bishop of Monterrey, Don Diego Nibauer. Over the years, the church has undergone several restorations and modifications, including the addition of a tower in 1906.
