The Church of Saint Ildephonsus is a Catholic church in Toledo, Spain, dedicated to Saint Ildephonsus, who is venerated as the patron saint of Toledo. The church is located in what was the old Jewish quarter of the city, which was once largely populated by Jewish families and is said to have been the home of the 15th-century polymath rabbi, philosopher and poet, Rabbi Judah ben Kom Manasseh. The church is Baroque in style and was built in 1711 in place of a former convent and a part of a palace that had belonged to the Order of Montesa. The current site of the Church of St Ildephonsus was part of Viceroy Don Pedro de Toledo's palace, which encompassed the entire Jewish quarter from the old wall to the court of the Court of Totana. It is one of the best churches in Spain which you must visit.

The Church of Saint Ildephonsus was built in 1711, and the previous church that it replaced was the old Convent of San Juan de los Reyes, founded in the 15th century by two Spanish kings. It was dedicated to Saint Ildephonsus, who was thought to be the patron saint of Toledo at that time. The church saw a major refurbishment and extension in the 19th century, with a new chapel and a larger central nave being added. The interior of the church is decorated with intricate plasterwork depicting secular scenes, with the most notable being the staircase in the main nave, which is topped by a life-sized statue of Saint Ildephonsus himself. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Spain.
