Church of Saint Ambrose In Rome: History,Facts, & Services
History:
Church of Saint Ambrose was founded in 1889 when a group of settlers asked the Bishop of St. Boniface, Jean-Francois-Xavier-Lloyd de Verney to create a parish in the area. He responded to the request by allocating 17 acres of land for the church and 6 acres for cemetery. The church was built by French pioneers and was the first Roman Catholic Church in Manotba outside the major cities. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Rome.

Church of Saint Ambrose offers weekly Mass, Confession, Baptism, and Nuptial services, as well as an active Sunday school and church choir. Weddings and funerals can also be held at the church.This beautiful church in Rome has made a lot of significance in the past.
