History:
The construction of the church began in 1585 and was completed in 1645. It was built in the typical Baroque style of the time and features a tall and imposing bell tower. The interior of the church is richly decorated with frescoes and sculptures depicting scenes from the life of Martino di Giove and the religious festivals of Naples. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Rome.
