Shri Gayatri Mandir - Saint Pierre is located in the district of Pamplemousses in the north of Mauritius. The easiest way to reach the temple is by car or taxi. You can drive to the temple complex from the capital city of Port Louis in approximately 2 hours, or take a taxi which will take 3 to 4 hours. If you are coming from the west of the island, you can take the M1 highway from Flacq and then take the A6/A13 highway towards Grand Bassin. After about 25 minutes, you will reach Grand Bassin. From there, take the A8 towards La Butte and then take the A11 towards Pamplemousses. The temple will be on the left side of the road after about 20 minutes. You can also take a bus from Port Louis or Flacq to Saint Pierre. You will need to take the MetBus A1 from Port Louis Bus Station and then take the A8 to Saint Pierre.
