Saint Coeur de Marie is a Catholic parish and school located in Sudbury, Ontario. It was founded in 1912 by the Divine Word Missionaries and serves the French-speaking population of the city. The original school opened in 1913 and the current sprawling campus includes a parish, a grade school, and a high school. It is one of the best churches in Mauritius which you must visit.

The name of the parish, Saint Coeur de Marie, means “Sacred Heart of Mary” and was chosen by the original Divine Word Missionaries who founded the school and parish. Throughout its history, the parish has been staffed by the Order of Divine Word Missionaries and is currently served by its pastor, Father Roch Dionne. It has served the French-speaking community of Sudbury since 1912 and the grade school opened in 1913. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Mauritius.
