The Church was founded in 1983 by Pastor Tom Jones and his wife, Sue Jones. The couple originally operated the church out of their home before they began travelling around Florida to spread the word of their ministry. From there, the church began to grow and expand, eventually setting up its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Mauritius.
