The Brajeshwari Devi temple in Nagarkot, Himachal Pradesh is mainly a Shakti Peetha. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Pilgrims from all over the country visit the temple to seek the blessings of Goddess Brajeshwari Devi. Worshipers show their reverence and devotion to the goddess by offering prayers and performing various rituals such as Homa, Abhishekam, Japa, and bhajan. Oil lamps are lit in front of the deity, and special puja and arati are offered in the evening with the use of chandan, kumkum, akshit, incense sticks, dhoop, and camphor. Puja offerings also include flowers, fruits, coconuts, and sweets. After the evening aarti, 108 Prasad is thrown to the devotees. The sacred water of the goddess is given as offering to pilgrims.
