The worship of Vithoba at the Dehu Pratishthan (temple) in Maharashtra is a unique method of devotion. The worship method is a combination of traditional beliefs and customs that have been passed down through the generations. The Pooja is done by offering milk and flowers to the god, followed by lighting a lamp and singing devotional songs. Afterwards devotees offer aarti and prasad. The temple is also known for its many rituals, including the recitation of 108 names of Vithoba. This is followed by the pouring of Gangajal (holy water from the Ganges river) and other offerings at the feet of the deity.
