Panchgani Sita Gufaa temple is the center of worship of many devotees from all across the country, and it has its own unique way of conducting its rituals and ceremonies. The temple priest first performs a preliminary aarti and seeks blessings from the Gods. Then devotional offerings are made to the deity with the help of flowers, coconuts, fruits, lamps and camphor. After visiting the deity, the pilgrims take a sacred bath in the nearby river (Krishna River) and then they enter the temple for the main puja. People offer prayers to the Sita Gufaa and seek divine guidance. Following the puja, pilgrims make obeisance to Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati. After this the devotees proceed to the main deity and give their offerings to the presiding deity. This is followed by aarti and bhajans. Repeat viewings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati after the puja are also performed.
