FPVM Ambohidroa is a village located in the district of Antsirabe, in the Vakinankaratra region of Madagascar. It is one of the many villages that are part of the community project of sustainable development. The village was founded in 2002 by the NGO Raribera (Regroupement Alternatif des Ressources pour l’Economie des Petites Villes Rurales). The aim was to improve the living conditions of the local population and to increase economic opportunities in the area. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Madagascar.
