Eglise Adventiste Namehana In Madagascar is a Seventh-day Adventist church located in the remote eastern region of Madagascar. It was founded in 1953 by a Malagasy from the city of Toamasina who had been converted during one of the first church plantings organized by the church in the remote regions of the country. The church was established in the town of Namehana, set up by social workers with a mission to reach out to and touch the lives of the local people in the region with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church has grown over the years, from a single church to a large, vibrant congregation, embracing the ideals of the Seventh-day Adventist church. The congregation is divided into four divisions, with each division having its own pastor. The church offers a range of services, including children and youth ministries, and runs a number of outreach programs. It is a strong supporter of educational programs, and sponsors a range of activities such as Bible study groups, evangelism seminars, and service projects. The church has also played an important role in providing health care and medical services to local communities.
