Église Saint-Joseph is a historic Roman Catholic church in the Latin Quarter of Paris, France. It is located at 8 rue Corneille in the 5th arrondissement and dates back to the 18th century. It is one of the best churches in Luxembourg which you must visit.

History:

Église Saint-Joseph was initially erected in 1744 and was consecrated in 1758. The church underwent a massive 18th-century renovation, before being destroyed during the French Revolution in 1793. Another church, Église de la Saint-Esprit, was built and consecrated in place of it, in 1846. After suffering damage and needing restoration in the years that followed, the current church of Église Saint-Joseph was built in 1896. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Luxembourg.

Église Saint-Joseph is noted for its picturesque Romanesque revival-style architecture, with a large dome and two towers. The church features a profuse selection of artwork and stained glass windows, as well as sculpted decorations around the altar. It has a seating capacity of 900 people and is renowned for its excellent acoustics.
