The Carmelite Church of St. Cross in Lithuania is a Roman Catholic church located in Vilnius, Lithuania. The church is one of the oldest in Vilnius, having been built around 1560, and is the only remaining building from the first stage of the history of the Carmelite Order in Lithuania. It is located near the Gate of Dawn and is dedicated to the suffering of Jesus. The Church also serves as the headquarters of the Lithuanian Carmelite Province. History:

The Church of St. Cross was erected in 1560 and served as a provincial church of the Carmelite order, who had been invited to Lithuania from Sicily in 1556. In the mid-17th century, the Church and monastery underwent renovations and improvements. During this time, a bell tower was constructed, and the monastery was expanded to include a library, cellars, a kitchen, and a refectory. By the end of the 17th century, the Church was enriched with painting, ornamentation, and sacred objects. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Lithuania.

The Church of St. Cross is one of the most recognizable and beloved Church in Vilnius.
