Matukeng Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lesotho is a vibrant church community in the open mountain settings of the small land-locked nation of Lesotho. Located in the Phuthiatsana Local Municipality and Morena rank, it is equipped with a beautiful and modern main church, an independent Children's Church, several outstations, and a growing membership. The church was established in the mid 1980s and was registered in 1987. This church is known for its dedication to mission, ministry, and outreach. History:

It is believed that the first known Adventist missionary to enter Lesotho was John B. Byington, a medical doctor who was sent by the General Conference. He arrived in 1891 and immediately set about organizing medical and evangelistic work in the region. Matukeng SDA Church In Lesotho was truly established by pioneer Adventist members from villages around the region. Its membership is comprised of more than 350 members who have deep roots in the region. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Lesotho.

Matukeng SDA Church has two main places of worship. The main church is located in Masorno, a village near the main road, while the children’s church building is located several kilometers away in the Matukeng Valley. The church also supports four independent outreach and ministry centers: two in Masorno (at Botha Bothe and Thuso respectively) and two in the Matukeng Valley (Lenasia and Moralle).
