There is a strong cultural focus on spirit or “phii” worship at Wat Tham Xieng Maen, which is expressed through Buddhist rituals and offerings such as chanting, circumambulation, and traditional music (morlam). Alternatively, you can catch a bus or shared pick-up truck from the Northern Bus Station to Theun Tham Kauk and then transfer onto the wider road to Wat Tham Xieng Maen.
