St Andrew’s Scots Memorial Church is located in Jerusalem. It is the only church in the world dedicated to the presence of Scotland in the Holy Land. The church was constructed in 1927 by architect Robert Parkinson and its distinctive panelling was a gift from the former Lord Provost of Glasgow, Sir Patrick Dollan. The church contains many memorials and plaques to the Scots who fought in the Great War and took part in the liberation of Jerusalem in 1917. The church offers regular Sunday services in English, as well as times of prayer and Bible study. It also runs a program of activities and provides a range of social and educational opportunities for its members and the larger community.
