The traditional worship method of Purshyar Mandir in Jammu-and-Kashmir is the same as other temples in the region. Devotees offer prayers at the temple by chanting mantras, and performing circumambulation (parikrama) of the shrine as a sign of respect and honour. The priests (pujaries) carry out elaborate rituals for the Pooja, while devotees offer flowers, incense sticks, fruits, sweets, and money as offerings to the gods.
