The Worship Method of Mata Shri Kheer Bhawani Temple is based on ancient Vedic Hindu traditions and rituals. Pilgrims visit the temple to offer prayers, perform yagnas (sacrificial fires) and pray for the blessings of Mata Shri. Special poojas (riterual offerings) are conducted each day, preceded by the holy baths of the sacred spring of Mata Shri. Pilgrims may also perform aarti (lighting of lamp) to show reverence and admiration of the goddess. It is believed that offering of flowers, fruit and sweets to Mata Shri will bring prosperity and wellbeing.
