It is said that Lord Shiva revealed the secret knowledge of the Vedas to Guru Gorakhnath ji, at the site of this temple. 6. During this festival, people take bath in Kheer Bhawani and offer their prayers to the Goddess by offering flowers and chanting prayers. 8.
