This practice is observed in the form of celebrating birth anniversaries, or Urs, of Sufi saints and pirs with performances of traditional music and dance. The main form of attunement in Barhami worship is singing devotional songs in the form of qawwalis and traditional poetry while the rhythm is maintained by clapping and beating of dhols.
