St Richard Of Chichester Roman Catholic Church is a parish church located in Kensington, London. It was built in the late 19th century in the neo-Gothic style, designed by architect J F Bentley. It is dedicated to St. Richard Of Chichester, a 13th century Bishop of Chichester and patron saint of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales. The parish was founded in 1860 and the church was built in 1868. It is one of the best churches in Jamaica which you must visit.

History:

The parish of St Richard Of Chichester was founded in 1860 by the Jesuits of Farm Street Church. The foundation stone was laid by Cardinal Manning in 1866 and the church opened in its present form in 1868. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.
