Old Harbour Baptist Church is a Baptist church located on Old Harbour Bay in St. Catherine, Jamaica. Established in 1821, the church is one of the oldest churches in the district and is still active today. It is one of the best churches in Jamaica which you must visit.

History:

Old Harbour Lutheran Church was founded in 1821 by Reverend William Wallace and other ministers in the district. The Church grew and expanded in the 1820's and many members joined. By the early 1850's, the Church was established as the largest Baptist Church in the area and had a congregation of several hundred. In the 1820's, a building was erected on the site, and a new building was constructed in 1898. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.
