History:

The first Bible study group of Jamaican Chinese believers was established in 1979 by Reverend George Ho, a Jamaican-born Chinese pastor of another church in Queens. In 1981, the group officially organized as Jamaica Chinese Christian Church (JCCC). Charles Lam, Paul Wong, Lawrence Tang and other church members initiated the construction of their own church building. In the 1990s, JCCC began reaching out to Chinese immigrants from the Caribbean, South America and other parts of the world. A website was established in 1999, and in 2002 the church began broadcasting live internet services from Jamaica, Queens.
