Architecture:
The Sultan Ibrahim Mosque is an Ottoman-era mosque located in Kirkuk in Iraq. It was built in 1625 in a traditional Ottoman architectural style. The mosque is mostly constructed of fired brick and features a rectangular courtyard with two large iwans on the east and west sides, as well as two minarets on either end of the structure. The main structure of the mosque is a cube-like building with four domes and two balconies on each side all connected to the main entrance. Inside the mosque is a mihrab, or prayer niche facing Mecca, flanked by two tall minbari windows. The interior of the mosque is decorated with intricate tiles and wall paintings depicting Islamic designs and motifs. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
