This platform is flanked by two spiralling staircases that lead to the minarets on each side of the mosque. There are two iwans on either side of the mosque that provide additional seating for worshippers. The Al-Qubbah Mosque is decorated with traditional Islamic patterns and geometric motifs. Such decorations can be found on the walls, the arches, and the domes. Other decorative features include inscriptions that contain Qur’anic verses, as well as detailed engravings of various calligraphic styles. The mosque has been designated as a tourist attraction.
