Jameh Mosque of Tabriz is a grand and magnificent mosque located in the city of Tabriz in Iran. It was originally built in 1329 by Aziz-al-Din Masud to commemorate his victory in the war against the Kingdom of Georgia. The mosque has since been renovated multiple times, and its most recent reconstructions in the 19th and 20th centuries added exquisite ornamentation to the interior and exterior of the building, making it one of the most stunning monuments in Tabriz. The mosque is comprised of a large courtyard, a single gateway, an impressive tiled dome and multiple magnificent minarets, and its grandiose nature is a testament to the grandeur of Iranian architecture. Architecture:

The Jameh Mosque of Tabriz (Jameh-i Mosalla-yi Tabriz-i Jadeed) is located in Tabriz city, Iran and was originally built in the 8th century with subsequent renovations and additions over the centuries. The mosque features a thick sandstone wall with elegant mosaic tile patterns, a seven-arc domed sanctuary, and two large eye catching minarets with unique blue-tiled design and golden accents. The main entrance is a large and imposing wooden door. The interior features a traditional four-iwan layout, consisting of four large halls on each of the four sides. Each hall contains its own mihrab and minbar. There are also several smaller prayer halls, lateral prayer halls, and a museum room. The mosque also contains a large courtyard with a stone ablution fountain, several smaller courtyards, and numerous decorative stucco work constructed during the twentieth century. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Visiting Hours:

Jameh Mosque of Tabriz (Jadeed) is open to visitors seven days a week from 8 am to 5 pm. Additional visiting hours are available on Fridays between 2 pm and 4:30 pm. best mosque in the world.
