History:

The dungeon was a small, rectangular room, approximately 9 feet wide and 20 feet long, located about eight metres underground. It was lit by two small lamps, one at each end of the room, and the only exit and entrance was a small doorway that required a key to enter the room. It is believed that Thomas Inman had individual instruments of torture placed in this chamber, including a portable rack which could be set up for interrogations, as well as two chairs which were believed to have been used for either the physical punishment or psychological torture of the prisoners.
