Marble Jholla In India: History,Facts, & Services
Overview:
Marble Jholla is a beautiful temple with two domes, two gateways and two courtyards. The main entrance of the temple is made of red sandstone and is flanked by four pillars with engraved images of Hindu gods and goddesses. There are tall towers known as 'trishuls' (tridents) placed at the entrance from where the divine energy flows. Inside the temple, a huge black marble statue of Lord Krishna is installed and is worshiped by the devotees. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The temple has a wide variety of features that make it one of the most popular temples in Mathura. It is known for its exquisite marble work, stunning architecture, and intricate carvings. The intricate carvings on the walls, pillars and ceilings display scenes from the Hindu epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata. The walls are adorned with images of Lord Krishna, Radha and other deities.
