Ancestral House of Lala Lajpat Rai Jagraon Plot in front of house is the family home of independence activist Lala Lajpat Rai and his family, who had been living in the house since the 19th century. History:
The house has two stories, measuring 75 feet by 54 feet, with four courtyards. There are two entry gates, two balconies and two verandas, which the Rai family occupied two-thirds of the building while the remaining third was used by his friend and narrator of his works, Bhai Jodh Singh. The Ancestral House of Lala Lajpat Rai has become a pilgrimage site for many who revere Lala Lajpat Rai and his legacy.
