Vreed-en-Hoop Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located in the Vreed-en-Hoop suburb of Guyana. It was established by the London Missionary Society in 1837. The church is named after a nearby estate which was used by Reverend John Smith to produce sugar during the colonial period.
The Vreed-en-Hoop Presbyterian Church is one of the oldest churches in Guyana. Its original wooden structure was replaced in the late 19th century with a brick building. The Church has seen many architectural changes, including the addition of a central turret in 1932.
