Rukmini Temple in Dwarka follows the Shree Vallabh Sampradaya of Pushti tradition of Bhakti. This tradition includes worshipping Lord Krishna in the form of Thakorji within a sanctum of the temple. The traditional ritual of worshipping Lord Krishna includes the chanting of prayers from a book called the Nand Mahamantra, and the chanting of the names of Lord Krishna. Offerings such as flowers, fruits and sweets are then made to the deity.
