PIWC FINLAND ASEMBLY is an association for Pentecostal Christians in Finland. It was founded in 1986 and is the largest national Pentecostal assembly in the country. Its headquarters are in Porvoo, Finland. History PIWC Finland Assembly was formed after a number of Pentecostal Churches in Finland joined together in 1986. It was initially founded as the Finnish Church of Pentecost and it held its first national service that same year. Since then, the Assembly has grown and expanded in membership, with additional churches joining the organization every year. Today, it is the largest and most active Pentecostal organization in Finland and its members come from all parts of the country. Facts - The aims of PIWC Finland Assembly are: to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in Finland, to build up the spiritual life of its members, and to serve the Church of Pentecost in Finland. - The church has a membership-based system and requires each member to sign a code of conduct and abide by it. - The assembly has several branches in different parts of the country. - PIWC Finland Assembly is affiliated with the World Assemblies of the Pentecostal Church. Services The PIWC Finland Assembly offers a number of services to its members, including regular services and worship, bible studies and lectures, mission trips, leadership and pastoral training, prayer meetings and a network of member churches. Additionally, it publishes several books and magazines, organizes conferences and workshops, and produces Christian media content. The organization also provides chaplaincy services and pastoral counseling and helps its members to engage in social outreach and service programs.
