Founded in 2013, New Life Parish aims to serve as a platform to teach the Christian faith and to help others grow spiritually and realize their potential in life. The Parish offers a wide range of transformational services such as worship, bible study, discipleship courses, seminars, and counseling. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a Pentecostal Holiness denomination with a presence in over 140 nations of the world. In Ethiopia, New Life Parish of the RCCG was founded in 2009 meaning the church is still relatively young. However, the church has experienced significant growth within this short period of time. At the moment, the church has branches in over 10 cities in all regions of Ethiopia including Jigjiga, Bahir Dar, Dessie, Adama and Gondar. The New Life Parish has children, youth, and adult ministries as well as theological and biblical training to equip members with knowledge and information to help in their spiritual growth. It also has community development projects to support the most disadvantaged in Ethiopia. In the year 2018, the New Life Parish was made the national headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for the whole of Ethiopia.
