History:

Full Pentecostal Church Ethiopia (FPCE) is a rapidly growing denomination of Christianity in Ethiopia. The church is part of the global Pentecostal movement, which has seen explosive growth around the world in recent decades. The church began in Addis Ababa in 2005 as a result of a unified effort between the local, original Pentecostal churches of Ethiopia and an Asian branch of the Pentecostal churches of India, Apostolic Church of India (ACI). Through this connection, the ACI opened a branch in Ethiopia in August 2005, operating in Addis Ababa. By uniting the existing churches with this new branch, Full Pentecostal Church of Ethiopia was formed. Since formation, the church's growth has been rapid, with 30,000 members in 2008 and 185 churches as of 2012. The church has a mission to spread the gospel to every corner of the country. As a result, the church operates outposts as far south as Gambela and as far east as Afar. Since establishing itself in Ethiopia, the church has provided many new opportunities for Ethiopians, from job training to running a radio station and publishing various Christian materials. In recent years, the church has also launched projects such as a college and a medical clinic. It is one of the best churches in Ethiopia which you must visit.
