History:

Overview (ECFE) is a Christian association of evangelical churches and ministries in Ethiopia. It was founded in 1986 when a group of evangelical church leaders gathered in Addis Ababa and organized the Ethiopian Evangelical Fellowship (EEF). Since then the ECFE has grown to become one of the largest Christian associations in the country, with over 850 churches and ministries participating throughout the different regions in Ethiopia. By the grace of God, the vision of ECFE is to bring together every evangelical church in Ethiopia to be a holistic expression of reconciliation and to declare the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ as the ultimate purpose for the existence of ECFE.
