Worship Method:

The worship method of Xingguo Temple (Jinan) in China is based on Chinese Mahayana Buddhism. As such, the main ritual performed in the temple is the offering of incense and food to the three main Buddhas: The Enlightenment Buddha, The Perfection Buddha, and The Manjushri Buddha. Offerings typically consist of traditional food, drink, and incense, which are placed in front of the main altar and left as an offering to the Buddhas. On special occasions, such as Chinese New Year or when a particular ritual is being held, the offering ceremony may be more elaborate and include the burning of paper money to honor the deceased. Additionally, prayers to the Buddhas are conventional, and devotees may also chant sutras or recite mantras during worship. There is also the practice of prostrating oneself before the Buddhas, which is believed to have a cleansing, purifying effect and to show humility and reverence. Finally, circumambulation, or the practice of walking around the temple hall, is also usually practiced in Xingguo Temple. This most visited temple in China
