History:
The Holy Cross, Church was founded as a mission congregation in 1904. It had its first service on April 10, 1905 in a store with 19 faith members. In 1906, the church completed its first church building at the corner of West Ashley and Cassat Streets. In 1918 a new church building was constructed on West Beaver Street. In 1985, the church celebrated its 80th Anniversary and the building underwent renovations in order to expand the congregation size and build a modern sanctuary.
