St. Wistan was an Anglo-Saxon saint who was the great-grandson of the legendary Mercian King Wulfhere. He is believed to have been born in around 640 CE and is credited with performing many miracles at his monastic house in Evesham, Worcestershire, England. He is believed to have been educated at Glastonbury in Somerset and was then appointed as Abbot of Evesham. It is one of the best churches in England which you must visit.
