is a 12th century mosque located in Rize, Turkey. The mosque was built by the Seljuk sultan Suleyman Shah, who reigned in the area from 1073 to 1086. The mosque was designed by the renowned Ottoman-era architect Mimar Sinan and features a two-storied minaret and an octagonal plan. The mosque is renowned for its unique blend of architectural styles, reflecting the influences of both the Seljuk and Ottoman Empires. It is one of the most famous mosque in Turkey which you must visit.

Rize Camii is an Ottoman-era mosque located in Rize, Turkey. It was built in 1572 by Sokullu Mehmet, an Ottoman grand vizier. The mosque is a two-story building with one large dome and two smaller domes, with four minarets adorning the sides of the courtyard. Inside the mosque, there is a mihrab and a minbar, both ornately decorated in traditional Ottoman style. The interior of the mosque is decorated with traditional Ottoman tiles and stained glass, with painted wooden panels adorning the walls and a marble floor inlaid with geometric patterns. The mosque also houses several tombs of local religious figures, including the tomb of a famous Ottoman poet. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

By Car: Rize Camii is a two and a half hour drive from Istanbul via the E80 highway. By Ferry: Direct ferries to Rize from Istanbul are available.
