New Santuario de Guadalupe is a Catholic church located in Mexico City. It is considered to be one of the most important pilgrimage sites to the Virgin of Guadalupe. The original old basilica, located in the former Aztec city of Tenochtitlán, was destroyed during construction of the Mexico City Cathedral and was rebuilt in the early 20th century. The church holds daily Mass, along with special services on December 12th and Sunday mornings. The church also offers guided tours in Spanish, bilingual novenas and Rosary services, and hosts a variety of cultural programs. There are also special chapels dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, her parents, St. Juan Diego, and other important saints.
