Chiesa del Colleggio Pio Romeno, l’Annunciazione del Signore, is a small Church located in Rome, Italy. It was built in 1676 and is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Lord. It was built as a refuge for Italian survivors of the 17th century plague epidemic and was later used as a Jesuit school. It is one of the few original churches built during the Baroque period in Rome. The façade features the coat of arms of Pope Innocent X and the interior contains four chapels. The interior is decorated in a cream color, with a set of three painted angels along the walls. The altarpiece is a painting by Domenichino, a famous Italian Baroque painter. Visitors of the church are able to see a beautiful Baroque style balcony from the outside as well.
