Worship Method:

The Temple of Amun at El-Kurru was originally built during the 25th dynasty of Egypt as an homage to the god Amun. Worship at the temple was centered around a statue of Amun in the inner sanctuary, and other gods such as Re-Horakhty, Meretseger, Anubis, and Isis were also honored. High priests dressed in linen robes, headdresses, and wigs, and carrying scepters and staffs officiated in the temple and its various rituals. Some of these rituals included sacrifice, incense burning, libations, purification ceremonies, and admittance of priests into the temple.
